A flexible, photographic, brand system for Vimeo Staff Pick's events (US: L.A. + New York), featuring short films from local artists. The visual system uses ripples as a brand device to hold cinematic stills from each film, creating a simple, graphic visual identity that is applied to promotional videos, posters, event graphics, signage and collateral.

The events, starting from LA, needed a simple identity that represented the artists and creators behind each film. The system featured easy to use brand elements that could hold any film image and work across all of Vimeo's events.

Solution

Our simple, yet dynamic identity was inspired by the film lens, featuring a rippling effect that allows all the films to come together in a single surface. Each element was structured so the internal Vimeo team can replicate and utilise the assets for future events. Deliverables included, posters, web brand elements, social posts, motion and email invites.
